Some people do have a problem excessively accessing OG as they seem to get withdrawal symptoms as well as end of the world delusions when they appear to be cut off from their "real" OG world. LOL. Guilty as charged!

Fred,
Can you shorten that so more will understand YOUR PROBLEM?
Posted By: Gasman84470 Re: excessing old gas - Sun Jul 06 2014 11:57 PM
Nah I love run on sentences. No one understands me! Could have used a comma or two, I suppose.

I was unable to access the site when I first tried a couple hours ago.

The Question was Excessing, not Accessing!
Posted By: Oldgas Re: excessing old gas - Mon Jul 07 2014 01:17 AM
Since August 2012, the Oldgas.com server has only been down 2 minutes. But we are vulnerable to any trouble spots across the network backbone between us and you. AT&T and Comcast have had outages today and are still having outages on their networks. This causes overloads and slow service on alternate routes as well.

If you are having problems with any site, type in the dot com name at the following link to see if it is up and running or if the trouble could be at your ISP or the network along the line.

It was super slow; tried to persevere as it was taking about 5-10 minutes for each page to load. I gave up and went and got yard work done instead.
