Attached is a picture of a Bowser Varley 318 which I was fortunate enough to purchase recently. I believe this particular model may not be as common as the Xatco 310. The primary difference between the two pumps is the manufacture of the clockface unit. Unfortunately there was no visi gauge with the pump and I would certainly appreciate it if some one had a gauge they would be willing to part with that fits any of the following models; 310, 311. 318, 320, 410, 411 or 418. Any help in locating a visi gauge would make this Oldgas member finish the year on a very positive note.
Thank you,
Marshall
Great addition to the collection Marshall!
The 400 series is different than the 300 visi. There was also two sizes on the 300 series.
Thanks for the info Matt. I wasgoling by Jack's book which shows a 318 and the 400 series to be the same. I would be interested in any of these models
.
I was offered a visi gauge but I believe it was primarily for a series 400 Bowser pump so I passed. Still looking for a series 300 gauge.
Thanks Marshall
Still looking for someone that can help. Thanks
Sorry to post this again but still looking. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
8 months since my first post and still looking for a series 300 visi gauge for my Bowser pump. Any help would be truly appreciated. Thank you.
might help if you can post a picture of what you need as most have no idea what a series 300 visi guage looks like
I have been studying pictures of 310 and 318 Bowsers. I noticed the 318 has the larger visi and the 310 has the smaller one. Here is a picture of the smaller one. The larger one looks the same just bigger.

does one in here look right
should come out on an angle like Als pic
Thanks for the suggestion Matt! I am looking for a gauge like the one in Al's picture and, as Bill noted, the most prominent identifier is the angled outlet. Any of the models I mentioned would do just fine. The series 400 visi is noticeably different.
Hello do you still have the Visi gauge on the right for sale ? Tom
Kim, Thanks for posting pictures of some visi gauges. Unfortunately I don't believe any of the ones shown are for a Bowser pump.
I am still looking for a Bowser visi gauge and thought I would bring my search back up to the top. I'm 5 days short of a year and still no luck. Anyone what to make an old man's Christmas?
Yesterday I saw someone on facebook looking for a visi for a Tokheim 870 and the one on his pump looked like what you need. Maybe he would trade if youhave what he needs
I appreciate the lead Matt. Unfortunately, I have not been able to locate the facebook posting you referenced and while I have visi gauges to trade, the Tokheim 870 is not one of them.
He may be replying to a post that I had made however I posted a picture of another members 870 and thatber corrected me saying that it was the I correct visigauge for that pump. I changed the picture to the correct one. I can PM with his name
My apologies for posting this one more time but another four more months have passed and still no luck Someone has to have a Bowser 300 series gauge they would be willing to sell!.
I have been looking for this visi gauge for almost 2.5 years and still no luck. There have to be gauges, that are not on pumps, out there but just no willingness to part with one. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me. Thanks.
Still looking for a Bowser series 300 visi guage with the outlet to the vehicle at a 45 degree angle. I would truly appreciate any help you might be able to offer. Have other gauges for trade or purchase outright. Thanks
