Here's one I rescued from my Grandfathers garage some 65 years ago, just before it collapsed after he died.I believe it's a one time only 1940 Chevrolet/Delco Battery, that Chevrolet jumped the gun on and prematurely made.
Delco fired back saying,"we don't advertise your Brand on our products, take your name off our batteries".To which they immediately did.
It's made out of a very hard plastic I believe,Bakelite?

Hi Gary, Give me a number where I can text a picture? I just got in a 6 volt Texaco Store display battery in new really good condition. Texaco Econo Chief , appears to be from the 1970's? Came out of a family Texaco gas station, restaurant and bar near York, Pa. Farm where this stuff was stored has been sold. I picked up a few things.
