This pump has been in my backyard since I bought this house. Can someone help ID this pump and guess at a value?

Looks like a Wayne 79, made by Boyle Dayton. Is the cylinder glass? Richard

Thanks Richard. I'm not positive. Do they usually substitute the glass on these with acrylic? I'll have to check it out this afternoon. I always assumed it was glass.

If the glass was broken acrylic was the cheapest way to go. Makes a big difference in value. Richard

Looks like it is glass with a hole in the 1st pic, right in the middle just past 1/2way up??

Yeah it has three small circular cracks. They are about an inch in diameter like they were hit with a bb or a stone. I think it may be acrylic based on the sound it makes when it's tapped.

A close up of the cracks.

It’s glass. Kid with a BB gun. In my opinion, an $800 pump as is. If the glass was good, could have added another $500-600 to that number. Neat that it’s a 79 instead of an 83.
