Hi, Gang. I'm thinking this is perhaps a late-1940's-early 1950's FRAM thermometer. Am I close on that? Also, what might be a fair price to pay for one in the condition shown. I've looked on eBay, and this design seems reasonably common, but they have vastly different asking and final auction prices. Thanks for the help. John

Yes, I thought the one on eBay that sold for $225 was a bargain. There are some much rougher ones on right now that have much higher asking prices. John
