I'm definitely going......well, er,....maybe. LOL. I should know in a few days if my schedule will allow it. I've been to lots of gas shows but never that one. I hear it wrestled the title of being the best petro show from Iowa Gas a few years ago.
Hope to see ya there!
Bob
Ohio Oil and I will be there early Friday morning. Look for the white primary petroliana shirt and stop me and say hello. Looking forward to meeting some of you oldgas members in person.
Nancy and I will be there, as usual. Drop by and we'll shoot the breeze!!
Butch
Hey gas geeks,
I'll be there Friday morning with my white oldgas.com golf shirt on! I'll also be wearing a Goodguys Rod and Custom straw hat (look for the fat cat in the hat). I'm looking forward to seeing other's from this site, so stop me and introduce yourself. See you there!
Jim
Kathy and I will be there in our usual spaces....214-219. Stop by and say Hi....Would like to see you...Paul
I may go, It's a 4 hour drive for me. Not being a vendor, should a guy get there Saturday morning or come Friday and try to snoop around while people are setting up?

Thanks Don,
Glad I asked.... hope to make it there.

Don, you are exactly right. Get to the shows as early as you "possibly" can. The first year I went to Iowa Gas back in 1995 I went on Saturday morning just in time to see everybody packing up and leaving. I learned my lesson that day.
We leave Wed. for our 10 hour trek to the great state of OHIO. Hope to see other oldgassers.

I'm planning to be there before noon on Thursday. I'll be wearing a brown "Calico Jack's, Cayman Islands" hat.....hopefully carrying a newly-acquired Mobil Kerosene pump plate under my arm. Hey, it doesn't hurt to be optimistic!!
If you see an old guy with a short gray beard walking around with Rex Benson and/or Bob Drake, it's probably me.
Richard
hy-flash will be there looking for Hi-Speed and Hy-Flash Gas Stuff. I will wearing a blue USS OKINAWA HAT.
Randy
Tokheim, Just so you know....a lot of the outside vendors pay an extra fee to start selling at noon on Thursday. We get there on Wednesday afternoon and park in our spaces. Thursday morning is used to set up and we start selling on time. You'll find the best deals on setup day, as a rule.
Got home from Columbus this evening. We had a great time!
We got there about noon on Thursday. We almost immediately ran into fellow oldgaser Richard Weir. I had no sooner asked if he'd seen Scott Shipers, when Scott walked up and introduced himself. We met Scott's lovely wife Janet later in the evening. I also met oldgassers John O'hern and Bill Fortune. We met Don Raleigh during the room to room swap. I've done business with John and Don before, but we had never met.
Ron Bettin had his usual great inventory of signs. He also had a couple of fiberglass Dino's.
Scott Benjamin was there with a pair of very unusual keyhole shaped globes. I'll post a picture of one of them later.
I'd never been to this show before. The swap meet was great, and the room to room swap was very good. Sales were very strong.
I only got a few pictures. I'll post them later.
