Me and wife took the 7 hour trek to Evansville, Indiana for the 13th annual Hoosier Petro Peddlars show.
I had the priviledge of meeting fellow oldgassers at the show including John Jarvis, Ethan (can and stuff) Bill and Glenda (piggysue1) and Mike (fins n vtwins). It was great talking to all of you face to face.
I would especially like to thank Mike for the cool housewarming gift he gave my wife and I. Mike they are already on the shelf.

After the show on Sat we went on to St. Louis and stayed with some friends. We got to go to Ted Drewes a Route 66 icon for frozen custard. Here are the pictures of it. They have at least 20 people working at this place because it is so busy. Their are numerous filling stations that have been changed to other forms of business on old 66.

Scott, Thanks for taking the time to photo and post the pictures. My jaw hit the floor when I seen that display pump,WOW.

Showcase looks like a G&B 84.
I'm somewhat glad I don't live in the middle. TOO many good shows, not enough $$$$$

WOW... what a great show. I took my camera but forgot to take pictures.
Dick, the pumps are Glenn Thompson's and the one showcase was a G&B but i don't know the model number.
Again i want to thank Mike (fins n vtwins) for the light pole. I got to talk to some other oldgas guys which is always great.
Don, The duplex was $5800, and was in fair to good condition. All the other clockfaces on his trailer were in the 1200-1700 dollar range.

What in the world is that 5 gallon visible to the right of the 8 sided visible? Unusual looking pump, almost looks like a street light.
Hey Gas Power. I'm pretty sure that's a Fry 5gal. Mae West style pump.
