I know its a month or so away. Just wondering who'll be there met a few guys last year but was still fairly new to the site.
I am planning to go walk around on Wednesday
i'll be there . not selling, just buying (hopefully)
been looking forward to it since I left last year
I'll be there for the first time only buying this trip.
Make sure you get to Red Field Row RSD. It is in the easternmost corner of the swap meet, even with the goalpost, between the football stadium and the old hockey arena. Lots of oldgassers here and nearby in the area selling. Always a good selection of pumps, signs, cans, automobilia, and more.
Last year was my first time there. Plan to make it an annual trip. 1400 miles each way. Can't make it to Iowa due to being in the A/C business to busy in August so this is the big one for me.
I wish it started on saturday..i live so close but ill be working probably.

Should be there on Wednesday. Luckily Hershey is in my back yard.
I'll be walking the grounds on Wednesday. Brady
I plan to be there with WW Motorcars & parts folks at Chocolate North Field C4Y1. We have some good stuff going like a rarely seen Texaco "complete chassis lubrication" sign from the 20's and a Case dealership sign, oil can racks, and maybe a pump or two plus much more.
i'll be there all week. rented a house with some buddies..may have a party one night...i'll keep ya's posted! chuck
My brother an me are going great show
Hershey is right around the corner. The heavy weight champ of everything cool. I will be set up as a vendor with invader todd in spots rsa 38-39. Hope everyone says hello if they stop by. I would encourage anyone who has an intrest in advertising to make this show. Thousands of shoppers from overseas fly into the area to attend the show. There is really no excuse if you live within a days driving not to attend. Here are pics from previous shows. Hope to see everyone in a few weeks.

First time for me this year hoping to find some nice qts to upgrade and add some.

I'll be setup in the orange field (OBH1, OBI1) Which is on the side of the Giant Center. Will have a bunch of porcelain, tin and neon signs along with counter top displays and early auto oil and gas posters...Looking forward to the show and SUNNY weather this year!
is there a map somewhere you can get that shows which field is which?
last year was my first year at Hershey and was kinda confused on the layout (all the rain didn't help )
I know Carlisle inside and out ,but not Hershey
would like to know the layout to make things quicker, and wouldn't mind meeting more of you guys
You can buy a program/map at the main entrances in the AACA tents.
Looking for spaces to park or vend if any are available from a member here. PM details.

If you planed on going why didn't you get a spot earlier instead of asking for one 2 weeks till the show/swap doesn't make sense.
Well that was a useful and helpful sentence...thanks for the bump.
Shawn, if you go to the Hershey Region AACA website, there are also field layout maps there as well you can print. Stop by WW Motorcars and parts in the north Chocolate field and say hello. Will have some air meters, island oil can cabinets and some rare Texaco stuff.

Things to do while at Hershey.
On Thursday night Oct.8 from about 4 to 8 pm , Leroy Horning has a gathering of pedal car collectors and vendors, at his showroom at 143 Dream Car Lane Hershey.
I have gone for years and set out a table or two, socialized and sold a few things. Maybe I will stop in at Chucks social on the way back to the fields, sounds fun !
Hey 60wayne, I may have the cooling unit that goes with that Pepsi cooler. It came out of a rusted out Ideal cooler. It's complete. I can bring it to Hershey if anybody needs it.
I left the compressor when I bought the cooler. I figured it would make a nice trailer, couch or just an ice box.
Also have a Skychief globe on a wide body packed to go.
I've got narrow body black T brass base Texaco and Sky Chief, both 1940 in exc. I'm taking as well.
Air greaser done up in Shell, I also have the oil catcher.
Being my first time I have a few questions.
1. Will there be any room to room sales at hotel Hershey?
2. What will the prices be like? I know it's a high end quality show so will there be any fairly inexpensive qt cans or other things for the beginner?
3. What is the best way to get through all the fields in 4 days

RUN don't walk
Oilcanman87, print out a map of the Hershey fields. When you park just start working your way thru from one end to the other. I always started at the red fields and worked my way thru the chocolate and then across the pedestrian bridge into green and then orange last. 4 days will give you plenty of time. I used to do the whole thing in two days but that's moving along at a quick pace.
There is a little bit of everything there but most dealers know what they have and what it's worth. Get there early.
Can't vouch for Hotel Hershey room-to-room sales.
I did it all in two and half days last year stopping only for chocolate breaks, bathroom and Red Robin MMMM
There are always bargains to be found at every show. It's just a matter of finding them or being in the right place at the right time.
Last year I picked up these globes, a 7up cooler and several other things. All were reasonable. If I had more money I would have bought more. Even if I had found nothing I had a great time, looking , learning and visiting friends. The fun in collecting is the experience, the people and the memories.
No "room to room" like Columbus or Iowa.
Loading for Hershey today and tomorrow at the latest. Space on the truck very limited.
Contact me ASAP if you want any of those pumps transported to the show.
I will be set up Wednesday and Thursday Chocolate Field CE84 and 85 with clocks and clock parts. Cleveland, Lackner, NPI, ect....
