I was wondering if anybody can answer why old gas and oil lease signs can be so expensive? Is it jus the graphics of the big oil because otherwise they are specific to a person that owned the lease with location info. I was at an auction last year and some brought several hundred dollars, there is another coming up with more for sale. Any help on this subject
is much appreciated.
Thanks

Kris

Welcome to OldGas!
Lease signs don't have the attraction that gas station signs have to many petroliana collectors. But some have local history, graphics or brands that get collectors going.
