Hi All!
I am new to the hobby/madness and am cutting my teeth on an Erie 77 pump.
It has sat outside since the mid 60-'s and while structurally sound and mostly complete, it has rust and pitting...
I need the Erie nameplate and some advice on pitted pumps.
I am not looking to do a perfect resto and would love to prep and paint it myself. Any advice on that? I understand from reading the forums, that they were often brush painted back in the day anyway...
