We received a call from a lady in Park City, KY. She said they had a gas pump on their old tobacco farm and wanted to sell it. She said I was in nice condition and they only stopped using it a few years ago. She said it said Tokheim on it. So we took an eight hour ride. It turned out the pump was bolted to the floor of small shed that had been built around the pump. The tank still had gas in it and so did the pump cylinder. We had to disassemble part of the shed to get it out. On top of it, I think the Tokheim 600 is the heaviest pump I have ever moved.
Who would know driving by this shed it would have a pump it it???
Like I always say, "The fun is in the hunt!".

Actually Phil this lead came from a prior restoration customer living in Louisville. Sorry, but you know we will go almost anywhere for an old pump and we were picking up some furniture for our porch. I wish I had known I was that close, I would have stopped by.
