just a tiny one... was excited to get it.
Wow! Randy!! Love that Pennzoil can!!!
Been a long time since I added anything to my Sinclair collection, never seen this can before.
Actually I've never seen a Penzoil or Citi Service cans like that either, nice finds.
Tom.
Super Mobil Marine, and I sure like the small Mobile sign!
I thought I would keep the "haven't seen one before" can theme going today. I received the top 5 gallon can over the weekend and got it cleaned up. I've been collecting Mobil for over 10 years now and it was the first time I've seen one of this design. It's dated May of 1941 on the bottom and luckily it is pretty clean. I learned if you haven't seen one before, you better buy it as you may not have another chance. It's rang true with a couple other cans in my collection. The lower 5 gallon I picked up a while back at an antique shop. Nice clean 5 gallons are hard to find IMO.

that's a really cool can does the other side match
Yes, both sides have the same deco design graphics. Both sides had remnants of the paper labels when I received it, but they had disintegrated over the years and there was absolutely nothing legible left. You can see the yellow discoloration from the glue. I am going to keep my eyes peeled for original labels as I have seen different ones for sale over the years, but never had a use for them until now, lol.

I picked this up this week.
Before and after I put in the new glass from Petro Relics
And it works.
Seen the occasional tire advertising in this section’s BOTW, so here are some neat Michelin pieces added this week to my newly started Michelin collection. 1932 Italian Michelin magazine and Early 20s British Isles map.
Picked up a few Mobil Grease cans last week.
Also another Hydrotone and Mobilfluid can.
Always looking to upgrade the condition of items I currently have in my Mobil collection.
Thank you Steve
Picked up a nice Bowes Cheerleader Radiator Flush can.
I am always looking for Variations of Bowes Items with the Cheerleaders on them.
Thanks.
Found this Hayes AX500 and decided it should stay in Wichita. Looking for the top of the clock mechanism if anyone has a lead for me I would appreciate it.
Nice pump!! If it ever decides it wants to leave Kansas, I have a place it can live in Indiana!! Chris
Thanks Chris. I'll keep that in mind.
