Shelves are built into the wall.
Sorry about these pics being sideways and upside down.
Wow that is looks like a great example of doing things right the first time. Nice Job. What a great first floor.
That is awesome. You could put a collection of anvils and vises on those shelves. A future owner of your house will get a surprise if they try to take down the shelves.
Flooring is racedeck garage flooring. It’s awesome but you pay for it. Haha
Incredible job!!! Looks awesome!! But I don't see any room for the collection to expand.
Very nice and I am jealous as I have no place to do that. Tough to live in the city, not much room to expand.
John, I can tell you have been busy! I'm guessing that you have made the globe shelfs cat proof.
Looks really nice John.....sure wish I had the room like that to display my 50+ globes.

Thanks! The basement garage has 50 globes and I have 40 globes in barn. I have another 8-10 globes not on shelves. I am staying at the 100 globe mark and will just upgrade from here on out. Saying that I will most likely end up building another shelf and displaying more. Haha
Ha, for sure John! I said when I started collecting I was only going to collect Mobil globes....that idea didn't last too long!
Looks really great, John. Heavy duty and built to last.
Is the jukebox operational?
Yes, but they sounded bad compared to today’s set up. Haha
Had a guy here in town come and fine tune it... he’s 78 years old and hard to find anyone to work on them anymore.
Nice idea mounting brackets inside studs. I like the clean look.
Very nice! Something to aspire to. Just obtained my first original old Deep Rock glass globe.
That year Nova and color combinations is one of my favs!!!
Quite the difference from your old place! I still remember visiting you there. If I remember right, you had that car back then but it was in a lot rougher shape!
Built a table and used the same material as my globe shelves.
