Just wanted to share how 1 seller is destroying history 1 sale at a time. Picture 1, what I bought. Following pictures describe the rest
And yes, that’s the packing material he used. Nothing was taken out of the box. All 5 are basically the same condition

Man 100%??????

Yup, that’s how I got them. Now fighting with the seller. Claiming not his responsibility once the post office gets them.

New seller. Only one feedback! Turn it into Ebay!!
Posted By: Trevor Re: Destroying History - Tue May 04 2021 02:54 AM
This wasn’t on eBay. Was a deal after he bought a can from me. The eBay is just one of his accounts though, he’s got a few.

Calling Don Cooper?

Might, see what happens at the end of this. He might have to buy them back

Did you pay through PP?

obvious poor packaging by the seller, not the post office responsibility .. ... cool

hope seller packs those high dollar cans on his completed auctions better than he packed yours

Yes I did, he was really focused on f/f, I paid the extra $50 for goods & services. Besides being rightfully ***** I thought I’d do a service announcement for future buyers of his

Really hope so for the buyers sake. He had some great cans I was interested in but after this there’s no possible way I’d deal with him again

Did seller ship you the cans you agreed to buy, or were you sent lesser grade examples in their place?
Posted By: Trevor Re: Destroying History - Tue May 04 2021 04:41 PM
Very good question, it looks like the ones I originally bought. Clean paint it’s just his wonderful packing job, zero packing except the thin layer of bubble wrap and nothing in between

Those cans didnt get damaged in shipment unless the entire box was crushed on all sides, he sent different cans than pictured IMO

They travelled 1000+ miles bouncing around full with a thin layer of bubble wrap and nothing else separation them. You could very well be right though. Guess time will tell if he posts more on eBay

Seems like the fact that the cans were FULL, coupled with poor packaging and distance travelled would quite possibly cause the damage…

Another reason you empty cans.

It's sooo simple,,
Full or empty.
Go to a carpet/flooring store and ask to buy a hard center cardboard tube from a roll of vinyl flooring, cut into 6" long lengths for US qts, 7" for imperial qts., wrap the can in plastic or newspaper and insert into the cut tube. If still worried about it you can wrap the tube in bubble wrap.
Easy Peasy...

For those of you who have bought cans from me, you know my packaging techniques. I do what Dave said, then I wrap the tube in bubble wrap, then I put it in a box with foam peanuts. I’ve never had a can get damaged.

I get my tubes from a carpet store and cut them to length on my saw.
