Done4, love that Sunoco rack! First time I've seen one outside of a vintage picture.

Randy, the Mobiloil rack looks great!!! SO GLAD to see you didn't refinish it!!
Les, where is that Sunoco rack of yours that I someday hope to own??
Here is mine!!
The proper blue cans have been quite elusive and I only just last week acquired 4 of the correct 1946 blue cans to finally fill it. One of the yellow cans is actually wrong. Still on the hunt.
Steve, it's on page one. Nice presentation Steve, love that barrel end on the barn wood

Best one I have nos full outboard cans .
Cool pieces, thanks for posting Alex.
Forgot to tell everyone that this has been one of the best display of collections (pun intended) on this site on a long time. That Round Texaco rack of Wasatch Man’s on page 6 in unique. I have never seen that before. Amazing what all is out there.
From one Texaco guy to another excellent variety of Tex .items Alex . Rest of the the display’s are all awesome as well . Keep them coming .
I wondered where all the racks went to. Amazing Don.
Some amazing collections here. This was my favorite, I sold it a few years ago. Hi Don! Hope you're doing well
Great displays Don ! Can’t beat the Texaco and Shell brands they just pop . Appears you and Alex have the Tex. Market cornered .
It's been a while since I've posted on here and thought I would add to this thread with a rack that I restored this past summer.
Before:
After:
Ken.
Mobil Tube Repair with all the boxes.
Mobil Battery rack with all the goodies and charger intact.
Large open back Mobil Upperlube counter displays.
Size comparison those are 5 quart cans sitting on top.
A few more....
Eric, those are off the hook! Love it.
Thanks Les. Still waiting for a nice Sunoco rack to come along........maybe someday.
We’ll see, time will tell.
This has been one of the most enjoyable threads ! Thanks all for sharing .
Thought I would post an updated full picture of mine.
I hate how the cans are not all the same color. Sun fade I guess. The blue cans are all the correct 1946 copyright can, but one of the yellow (lower left) is not. It is copyright 1956 and if you look close you will see that the white shadowing on the lettering is different.
Still saving my penny's for the day Les sells me his other Sunoco version.
A little guy but a display rack.
This is the only rack I have with signage!
Interesting to see this thread pop up after all these years ... enjoyed seeing some of the old posts ... don't know how I missed it, so here's a pic of my Tokheim Lubar
Here's mine.
Original Lubrite sign
I posted some of mine way back when. Guess I didn’t have these then or didn’t have a picture of them.
RPM rack.
SEL OIL CABINET - One i just finished a month ago & pretty happy with the outcome . Alway’s wanted one but kept looking for that bargain which I never found . Had to pay up but it was a solid survivor no rust thru and all there .
Here is my Sunoco
Love these displays, but haven't seen mine yet. Found it in pretty rough shape, the feet have been removed and the shelves have been screwed back together a bit wonky. Cleaned it up and decided to hang it on a wall with cans that friends have given me. That way they can see their gift on display.
