Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate.
God's Blessings to those who believe.
Good Vibes, Good Thoughts and Best Wishes to all...
Today I am thankful for life. Without life, everything else is just well, unimportant.

Life is good... Enjoy!

Happy Thanksgiving Day!

Being grateful is the key to happiness. I'm thankful for family, health, relationships and lots of things, but I'm most thankful for forgiveness and grace from God.

Be safe in your travels out there in Oldgasland!

Thankful for many Blessings including family, friends, and freedom. Thinking of those who can't be with family today - whether soldiers abroad or first responders here at home. Happy Thanksgiving to all OG!

Hello All, and Happy Thanksgiving!

Although the sun was only to be seen briefly in and out of the clouds when it was low this morning, it is "warm" for this time of year in the lower 50's. Most of the 8" of snow we received last weekend is gone due to the warmth of the last couple days.
Have a great day,
Darin

Thanksgiving is a great day to bring in the strays--so to speak. If you know any single people living along, ask them to join you. They may have plans, but again they may not...so it never hurts to ask, and they will appreciate being thought about. And if they worry they have nothing to bring, ask them to bring their appetite!

Later today we'll be visiting a 90 plus WWII vet friend at the Veterans home who has not been able to eat for a couple of years now due to medical issues so gets left out of activities related to food-plus we know he misses eating, so sitting watching others eat is probably a drag. So our thanksgiving repast with him will be snappy conversation!

He's a wonderful guy with a great attitude on life, so what can be better on Thanksgiving than that!

Walter wishes all of you a happy Thanksgiving.

Bob visits him once a week as they are cactus buddies and have lots to talk about (cacti, football, meteorology). I visit on my own whenever I read an article I think he would like, or I see something else he and I might be able to talk about, so it's about once a month or two.

You visit someone in his situation, wheelchair bound and feeding tube, and you realize how much you have to be thankful about. I really hope when (and if) I get to be his age, that I have as good a friend as Bob is to him. I especially wish I will have his positive outlook on life.
