Just noticed a dealer who has routinely sold mosty legit signs in the past has crossed over to the dark side. Currently they are offering signs as vintage that are poorly executed reproductions. These are 48" pieces of sheet metal imprinted with pennzoil, evinrude, lyman boats, mercury outboards etc etc etc that have been chemically oxidized to create a back that is rusty. Beware!!!!

If you weren't aware, there are currently 11 pages of repro dealers listed at the top of the "Online Auctions" section here on Old Gas. You might want to post names there to help keep that current, but I don't know how anyone could keep up with all the junk/repro dealers on Ebay anyways......the dealer you mention above is already mentioned there.
