Im pretty stoked to go pick my Mobiloil neon sign tomorrow night from my buddy Rod who did the neon for it. i have had the porcelain sign for years and enjoyed it as just a flat sign. I got the idea it would look great in neon because the sign has a lip going all the way around it as if it should be on a box. It did not have holes plugged for neon but thought if I had my buddy Tim Hansen make a box for it I could at least get a neon ring installed around the edge. Well Tim did a stunning job on the metal can for the sign and i dropped it off to Rod Countryman the neon guy. He texted me this picture and said it was ready for pick up. Im so excited to get her home..i didn't know he could do the lettering ..i guess a good neon guy can do anything..LOL. I really think it came out great and look forward to hanging it. The porcelain sign was an ebay score years ago and it came from Germany..i thought shipping was going to kill me , but luckily the seller had a friend that was traveling from Germany to Seattle to visit his daughter going to university here. He said his friend would bring it on the plane for me and deliver it right to the tattoo studio where I work. I was thrilled. It must of been a small burden for the guy to do this because when he dropped it off he looked at me and said .."Heres your damned sign" LOL. anyways fast forward 10 years later and she looks like this now. Im excited to pick her up tomorrow :-)

Rod from North lights neon in Monroe is outstanding and his metal can maker is the best if someone needs the really hard intricate one made.

What he said...one of the best. I have used NLN with no complaints. Highly recommended.

Darren,
Love it!! But it has the ugly bug on it so I am a bit biased towards it.

You get bored with it send to Ohio you know my address!!
