What holds the cylinder together on this pump? I have 3 long threaded rods, 3 rods with no threads at all and the rest are shorter and threaded. I hope I am not missing something. Anyone have an assembly print out or a schematic? I did not take this pump apart and have no clue what the heck holds it all together.

The three longer ones go thru the dome to hold it on. All others should be threaded and only go thru the jar lid.

The brass rods I ordered are the same length as the old ones but, I have not enough thread to put the nuts on . This is really puzzling

Was there some kind of special nuts for the rods? I have just regular brass ones.

there should be three longer rods, line the bonnet holes up with those holes and place some brass acorn nuts on them. you might have to make those three if you bought a set of standard brass rods

I think I may have figured it out, The three long threaded rods will be the ones holding the whole thing together. The other shorter threaded ones will go thru the jar lid and really just be for decoration. Just curious how this thing was put together to begin with. Hopefully the three longer rods will be enough to keep it all together.

I would guess that the short rods have no threads because when someone tried to remove the nuts, the nuts twisted off along with all of the threads. I don't believe there are any rods for decoration. Joe
