Hello, new member here. Have been collecting classic cars and related items for several years but just now getting into gas pumps and "big" signs. I say big in that I have always collected gas and oil stuff, just usually the smaller stuff as anything big is quite expensive. But am getting into the larger stuff now and picked up my first gas pump recently. I can't quite figure this one out though. It's a Erie model 4007 I think. Small Clockface and I only have the top of the set. Can't find any pictures of so would like to find out more. I have run across a site somewhere that said it was a "farm" pump. Again, not sure so any help would be appreciated. I have attached pictures of my unit and included one of the inside motor. [img][/img]

Awesome, seems like there are quite a few Okie's here. We will all have to get together at some point. I go to many of the larger swap meets in the area. Always looking for something. On my pump, yes, I thought it was cool and unusual. I have never seen one so small and plain. My goal is to find out more about it as any web searches have come up empty. Want to get the base unit and then a Globe but really want to see some period pics to make sure it is authentic. I could just fix it up and go any direction I want with colors and graphics, but am kind of a purist and like originality over "new".

Thanks. Good ole Hays, Kansas. Have driven through there many a time on the way to Sidney, Nebraska. My Grandparents town and where I was born.
