Yes, it's a reproduction. But it's not a fantasy sign. Originals of this design were made . Google studebaker Rockne porcelain sign and you'll see several images of originals..... Originals are fairly scarce and desirable of course.

Thanks for the heads up, everyone. Should have tried " See other items" & the "Red Indian" would have answered my Q (thanks Randy)! Also, googled (thanks Signs&Neons) got to see the real one that brought over $3K My apologies to have wasted the bandwidth! Hen

This is what I said to him; Why do you continue to sell fake repro stuff for original stuff. It is criminal to do that.. This was his reply; I am sorry, Why do you think that this is not original sign This was my reply; Because I have been selling signs for 30 years and I can tell by the font on the lettering and the workmanship. Their isn't an oil company in the world that would have accepted that kind of workmanship. I don't know if your making them or where your getting them from but they are NOT from the time period they would have been from. They might be old steel material but they are NOT a vintage sign from the 20-30-40's.. I guarantee it. This was his reply; Thank you for information. I will do investigation This was his question; Could you give me a link to the original? This is what I said; http://www.bing.com/search?q=studebaker+...conversationid=

Hi definition pics is what they are working off a lot of the time. That's all they need. Buyer beware, study and research everything you buy from anywhere now.
