I know we talked about this sign (came up on eBay a while back) ...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/201412758696

I am not able to find the older thread on this.

At any rate, from the photos, I notice the art work is pretty sharp.

Is this an older "fantasy" piece?

Thanks,

Hen

You are correct Wes. All known signs from Buffalo are in fact painted tin. They never made a porcelain sign nor did they ever offer a flange sign.

Why are you surprised?

IMO, this is very nice "fantasy" sign with quality art work + great porcelain work.

So, let me ask ...

Is eBay:

1- US/Canada Wide?
2- Worldwide?

Just saying ...

Why would anyone be surprised at the price? Really? Because it's a FANTASY sign. It's a decorator piece. It doesn't matter how good the artwork is. It has NO collector value.

You are entitled to your opinion.

Looks like he took a picture that already existed and pasted it onto a piece of steel. How in the hell is that artwork?

Ignore all you want. It doesn't change the fact that fantasy signs don't have collector value.

Anytime someone ends up saying "Enough said!" they are just asking for more.
My first thought when I read this was what a "twit" and just for the heck of it I looked it up: twit = a silly annoying person : fool
Looks like the Fat Lady hasn't showed up quite yet.
