Hi All,
a friend and I are going to spend 10 days in Florida from the 19th-29th of November. We will visit the Turkey Run in Daytona Beach and will probably visit Don Garlitz museum in Ocala.. would also like to know if there are anything else "gas" related to see, anywhere else?

There used to be a restaurant called Deezerland IIRC in the Miami area - it was full of petro and you sat in cars while eating - is it still there?

any info is appreciated :-)

We have a place in Miami that is just about a mile from Deezer! It was open and going strong this past April. As far as I know they is still open, looking forward to visiting there again this December!

We stayed in Cocoa Beach several times, never heard of it. Bummer

Too busy paying fines/tickets for taking my two small dogs on the beach at 6:00 am for sunrise.

There's a guy by the Villages North/West of Orlando, center of state who has a shop with several pumps restored. I don't remember his name on ebay, roadsiderelics ? They were close the day I went there. Maybe worth your time to visit it, if it's not to far from you.

@Blacktee - PastGas is in Cocoa (over the causeways west of Cocoa beach on SR520) Sorry to hear about the fines. The enforcers down here are quite badge heavy and ticket happy. frown

Definitely visit Garlitz museum, but another place to visit if you have time is a small place called the "Mt Dora Museum of speed".

Museum of speed

Thanks,
-Paul
