Amazing all the difference in prices! I'm sure it has to do with the transportation costs of that fuel, but I remember several years ago when we had a group that completely controlled the gas prices within our town. They had regular meetings to decide on the weekly price, and there were never any "gas wars" like the towns around us! I think that's all over now because of the extent of the competition.
I don't think I will be moving to Gualala, Ca. anytime soon! LOL

Varies anywhere from 28 cents to 66 cents per gallon in my garage, but I can't seem to get those ones to pump gas from the ground beneath my garage... So I gotta drive to the station and pay $2.03 (about an hour north of Detroit)

$2.09 an hour south of Chicago.
When my in-laws lived in SC gas was as much as 86 cents a gallon cheaper there. It's all about the taxes.
