Hi, I managed to score a couple of nice signs these past weeks. First is a ssp Pratts Kerosene (Fotogen) from the 20s. It is different from the Gasoline signs (Bensin) in that it is white instead of red and much more rare. Measure about 25X18 inches.
Second is a dsp Ford sales and service (försäljning & service) that was used in a small dealership in Sweden. Believe it is 40s but not sure. Measure about 34X24 inches. I have always wanted a sign like this and managed to get first in line on our Craigslist, yesterday eve. Have never seen one for sale before (or seen one in person for that matter) very satisfied right now :-)
Claes
Pratts Fotogen Sweden ca 1925.

A few buys the past few weeks. I don't collect oil cans but thought the Last_A_Long was a cool looking composite quart that could find a place on my shelf.

Crazy how lucky I was to obtain this globe. The other night I was scrolling through some old posts on Oldgas and found a picture of this globe. I was very surprised to to know it exists considering my last name is McClanahan (not a very common name). The next day I messaged the person who had the globe to ask if he still had it, or if he knew where to find one. He told me that he didn't and there were only a couple known. I figured, oh well maybe someday I will get lucky. Well, I got lucky that very day. Scott B. posted a picture of some globes for sale and the McClanahan was one of them. I was able to buy it and am still shocked at the luck involved!!

Better keep that can away from water, cause they multiply like gremlins... Love that painted shell motor oil sign! Rare find! Congrats on the globe Ryan! I hope to find an Anthony globe someday, but they are as rare as the one you found.

Great stuff this week, guys! I got a Mars globe from GasGlobes.com last week. Goes well with the Mars Regular pump plate on this Tokheim 39. Maybe I should clean it up better and put in an ad glass now. Mars was a local oil company here. I'd love to find more Mars items.
Tokheim 39 with Mars plate and globe

Looks great Jim. I think an ad glass would really add to it!
