Could anyone tell me if there was ever a Skychief sign that sat on top of one of those sidewalk poles that had the Texaco base to it. Someone says that they have one of these, but yet I have never seen one or heard of one, so I was wondering if any one else has seen or heard of one before I go to look at it. I have seen other Texaco sidewalk signs, but not a Skychief sign.

Yes, there is a Sky Chief lollipop sign. Double sided painted. I can't remember the diameter off the top of my head. There are a few that survived.

...bear in mind that not all Texaco bases are legit, either...
Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...
