Hello Everyone,

I was wondering what the best way to hang round and rectangular signs from the ceiling of my pole barn. I don't want to damage the signs nor really want to drill holes in anything. Recently, I visited a sign museum in Cincinnati Ohio and they used the bracket that clamp on to the beams of the building without drilling. Does anyone know where I can find these brackets or what they are called? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

F&M beam clamps is what most plumbing supply houses call them. If you are looking for the threaded rod style.

I have several signs hanging from the rafters in my garage building. I pick up heavy gage steel rod (1/4") at the local Lowe's. After cutting to the length I need, I place in a vice and bend to custom fit over the top of the rafter. On the other end of the rod, I bend in a "J" shape to hang my sign from. Have done this several times and it works great! Very easy to move your signs around also, as you add more smile Very inexpensive method.

Maybe I am to simple minded. I just go to the local hardware store and get a length of small chain and some inexpensive "S" hooks.
wrap the chain around something on the beam and connect with hook that I crimp together with a pair of pliers. Put hook thru hole in sign and crimp.
