Only thing I remember is it was in Idaho. After it sold the pictures kept popping up on Craigslist and other sites as a scam sale.

Thats what I was wondering, its under the UK Craigs list now. The guy said he would sell it to me for $2200.00 American dollars delivered.He said to Send him the money though Xoom.com and my money was guaranteed to be returned if there was any problem. He gave me a name and address but refused to give any contact #. I also asked him for different pictures other then whats on the Ebay listing and he stopped replying. The pictures on the UK Craigslist are pictures taken in my driveway in Idaho.
And the pump stolen in Harrington Washington is a different pump and never surfaced to my knowledge.

Old Gas members beware. UK deal is a SCAM. DO NOT SEND money to UK. I'm glad you did not fall for it. Several groups in the UK are pulling money scams right now (kind of like Nigeria). Send us money and we'll send you _______.


I may be stating the obvious to some of you, but for those of you who are new to buying big items that are far away - what the OP'er (Drgaspump) did is a great way to check. Always ask them to send more pictures. Ask them to send you one with a dollar bill in front of the globe or a screwdriver (or some other simple object of your choosing). I'll bet he can't do it. And I'll bet they never respond again.

... and always trust your gut instinct. To keep it clean: If it smells like poop, it probably is poop.

The pump in Harrington was never found, but I believe the insurance company did pay off.
