I have contacted ebay about this twice now and they still have yet to do anything with this seller. I placed a bid on the sign only to be told I could not pick this sign up locally and regular shipping rates applied, which are absurd because I have shipped 6' signs for under what he is charging for this small sign. I have called ebay to report this seller for abusing shipping charges on this and they have done nothing yet about it. How is it that this seller is aloud to refuse local pick up and charge this much for shipping?

Cool sign not all people pack and ship there stuff. Some use pack mail type stores and they charge real money.if that was the shipping price shown before bidding you should of cleared that up before bidding. I've paid more to shipp smaller stuff from auction companys.

Its a weird way to do it but, it looks like he wants 1075.47 for that sign.

It has nothing to do with packing if your willing to pick it up. At this point of him refusing to elimante free shipping he is just trying to scam people into believing the sign is cheaper than it actually is. And even more to prove he's just trying to ream someone he actually has the sign listed cheaper with shipping a week ago and then lowered the price and jacked up the shipping even higher. When questioned about it he says I'm not letting this sign go cheaper than XXX amount of dollars. I'll keep it. Which indicates he's not charging you for shipping he's just trying to catch someone off guard because his sign isn't brining what he'd like it to bring.
