I bought 5 of what I thought were metal cone shaped oil spouts at a thrift store. They look identical in both size and shape to old screw-on oil spouts on eBay except there are NO threads on the inside of the base of the spouts. These would be the type of spouts that fit on a one quart glass oil jar. Has anyone seen oil spouts without threads? I do not know how the spout would stay on the jar once you start pouring the oil out of the oil container. Thanks, RTR

I bought six of what appears to be old oil spouts for a glass oil jar but they have no treads on the inside to screw onto the jar. They are made of metal and are 6" in height and the base is 2.75" in diameter and they have a metal cap that slips on and off. They look just like the oil spouts I have seen on eBay but without the threads on the inside of the base. Has anyone seen these and how do they attach to the oil jar? Thanks, RRoland

Hi Randy, I am NOT 100% certain they are oil spouts but they look just like regular oil spouts except for the lack of threads.

This post is worthless without a picture
