I am currently out West buying. Ran across a six foot DSP Knight Gas/Oil, in Missouri. It is currently riding in my trailer and headed home later this week. Last one of these that I remember sold at Vics auction, many years ago. I am looking for the company history since Google has very little? Can someone please help me fill in the blank pages? Thanks, Paul www.severngaspumps.com

Very hard to find stuff with Knight Oil Co. I have seen a few of the globes and pump plates in the books , But I looked in some of my books, but could not find much on the history. Knight Oil stuff always brings high $$$

Sure would like to see a picture of the six footer !

Paul, in the Globe CD (1st Edition) under Valero is a small Company background, on Knight Oil Company. (not sure if same Company?)

Knight Oil Company: Springfield, MO... Operated from 1930s(?) to 1959 when acquired by Vickers and rebranded... In the CD; 8 different Globes are shown... (Paul, hopefully this is the Company you are looking for)

Bob, that is the info that I needed. It makes sense with what I was told by the seller, in the Springfield area. Bryce, Mine is packed tightly behind the load but it is the same, I'm pretty sure. Thank you both. Paul www.severngaspumps.com
