Hi KW

Need a gas manifold and i want to retrofit the light manifold to accommodate the new globe I will be installing. I have heard that some 36bs light manifolds have 5 individual lights. Mine only has 3.

I've had 5 of these pumps and still have two in my collection. All of them had just 3 lights, one for each face and one for the globe. I can take a picture tonight if you still need it. Unfortunately I don't have a spare gas manifold.

ps how did they light up the ad glass? With the taller light for the globe? I would think they would need separate lighting.

Every 36b I've ever had (that had a provision for a globe) had a single light going up to the globe and directed ambient light to the ad glass. Those without a provision for a globe had a single light mounted directly to the cast top plate with an explosion glass around it. And I've had more than my fair share smile

I made a mistake when I answered you and owe you an apology as well as any one that read my post. All I can attribute it to is my old age.

My 36b pumps do in fact have five lights, two in the lower part with one over each face; two in the ad glass top with one facing to the right and one to the left of the front of the pump (these are at 90 degrees to the lower face plate lights, and one that goes up into the globe.

I've attached a couple of pictures. One shows the light fixtures in the ad glass top while one tries to show the two fixtures in the lower computer part of the pump. Unfortunately you can only see one of the two fixtures due to all the clutter in the way.

Again I apologize for any confusion I may have caused.

Thanks Hardy,

For a second, i thought I was losing my mind Very helpful. I will fabricate an additional stem to carry a light to the globe.

I really appreciate the help.

I picked up another 36B a few weeks ago and thought I'd post a pic. Every single 36B I've ever brought home from the PNW area has this setup for the lights...although the 5-light setup makes soooo much more sense. No idea why this would be the case:

Somehow I missed your post back in September, but I can offer you original literature that Tokheim made available when your pump was introduced. The Parts manual shows every part and where it goes.

Perhaps this will answer many of your questions.
