Steve Coppens and I had a few discussions on this sign as to being the real deal or not. We both leaned towards the real deal from an old barrel lubester and it looked good enough for me to take a chance and bid at the last minute.
So what's the opinion of the Old-Gas community as to real or not?
Please take a look so if I have to send it back I should do it asap.
Thanks Mike

Seeing your close up pics Mike the grommets sure look pretty good. I mean as far age/damage from use. And the back too! I dont think there was a picture of the back in the listing. That looks really good.
Damn it it's such a shame that we have to bang our heads against the wall on signs these days! Damn the repop man!!

I'm not sure if real or not, But if you find out later its fake at least you can lay claim to having the first repro of its kind. lol

Mike, Send it to me so I can hold it, touch it, fondle it, and I will also probably need to hang it on the wall for a couple of years so I can can see if I get that sickening gut feeling that you've bought a repro, lol!! If I don't get that feeling, I'll ship it back to you! Oh, and by the way, I'll reimburse you for the shipping to me, okay? Looks like you did well!
