I recently purchased the two pumps pictured below. The one on the right is a Correct Measure 100. I bought it with the globe / light on top. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about that globe. Is it some kind of original factory globe? Is it an aftermarket light that stations purchased back then?

The globe may not be as old as the pump because the base of the globe is made from thick aluminum (not sure if aluminum was used back then). However, I know the globe is somewhat old because it has the same paint as the pump (and the paint is very old). So maybe it was purchased as an ad on in the fifties and painted then???

.... Or it has nothing to do with gas / oil. Just an upside down light.

Anyone happen to know? Thank you all for the help.

Steve, it looks like an upside down street light lens. I have taken down many of them over the years

Positively an acorn street light globe. Not a gas & oil item.
