I agree. Glad to see the Dodgers go home and the Cubs make it in after a long drought.

Not a fan of either team but glad both are in it, and not a west or east coast team. Go someone.

Cleveland has been the underdog all year and relishes it. The whole country seems to be rooting for the Cubs and barely gives the Tribe a nod. LBJ not so long ago said it always is Us against the world and to be honest, it almost feels like it. Ive been saying The Indians were going to make it since mid June. They have made it this far without THREE of there starting pitchers who were lost to injuries in the last month-month and a half.(Two of the injuries were freak accidents) They are a hard working blue collar team without any real superstars who really play as a team and really reflect the mentality of the city itself . They really are a bunch of good guys and I'm happy for them because I feel like they really deserve this and have earned it. So far it has almost seemed like destiny for them. The Cavs were mostly counted out and look how that wound up. Dont underestimate them....

Agreed, the Indians are a force and they could prove to be too much for the Cubs. Either way, congrats to both teams! Gonna be a great World Series!

Although I'm rooting for the Cubs,I for one don't underestimate the Cleveland Indians at all.
As a Whitesox fan,I've been watching them all season too.
I'm surprised how many people here are acting like the Cubs already won the WS.
Cubs NLSC hats & shirts are being passed over for Cubs WS winners instead.
I take it one step @ a time & bought NLSC Champion wear and don't want to "cinch" us.
As well as Cleveland has had time to rest up since Wed.,while the Cubs just won the pennant & have lil time to celebrate, before heading off to Cleveland on the redeye.
Both of these teams are very capable of winning it.

So how long have some of those players been wearing the same underwear for fear that changing them will change their luck! It'd be a stinky ride on the team bus--er--plane! LOL laugh

And exciting match up for sure...

So which way would you like to see a win--a quick win by one side, or even-stevens until the last possible tie breaking game?
