I remember, as a child, seeing very old Standard Oil metal signs attached to the pole on the corner....but the flame wasn't lit up by a lightbulb...it had a natural-gas spigot that allowed it to shoot real flames! Am I remembering wrong, or did these exist...and if so, do they continue to exist (or has the EPA and the Energy Dept. done away with this)?
