Hi all, this is my first post I have got a Milwaukee 584 top section and I am looking for photos of this pump to see if it is 6 or 8 sided. I am also looking for any information or photos as to what type of pump these bowsers used as I intend to restore it once I can find the correct bits. I am in Australia so not much information out here on these pumps. Thanks Bus7

I have a complete pump and will send you a pick when I can get to it. Not a pump you see every day. Electric pump in a visible.

Six sided, five or ten gallon, hand operated visible pump. Sorry I don't have anything listed on this pump on my website: www.petrocollect.com but I do have two pieces of color literature for this pump available. Email me. Jack & Cindy Sim

I'm not familiar with a 584, but the 58-B was electrically operated with provision for an "Emergency handle for hand operated when necessary". This was a short handle (less than 12 inches in length. The 581 was a five gallon air operated model. The 582 was a visible attachment. The 583 does not have the interlocking valves. I hope this helps a little... Ron

Hi Ron I had a look in Jack Simms book I suppose it could really be any of those models . I only thought that it might be a 584 because it was a manual model And I was told there wasn't . Many electric or air operated ones in Australia Are all those pumps you mentioned 6 sided as from the photo I posted of the underneath it appears to be 8 sided . Do you make a base that would suit this top . Thanks Bus7

All of them were six sided. I could make you a cast iron base and you can have your sheet metal made locally. Shipping the base will be expensive. Send me an email and I'll send you some photos that should help. Copies of the color sales literature are $4 each plus postage.
Ron
