I believe that all of the Gulf GOC "spec" stair step pumps tops are interchangeable. The Erie 129 and the Tokheim 875 are the same size, and I believe all of the plain style stainless steel tops are the same size as well. My question when I read the post was whether or not a steel or stainless steel version top was wanted. Brady

Wish I had a few to sell! I bought my last Erie steel top for $10 at an auction. It was in a concrete "mud" pan along with a bunch of misc concrete tools. Another guy needed the concrete tools and we split the cost. I had a pump that needed one, now that is luck! Brady

The Erie stepped tops are different for the 129 and all other Erie GOC pumps. The 129 top is stainless with 4 mounting tabs that are used to bolt the top down from inside the pump. The remaining models (129B, 129-12, 129-22) have painted steel tops that screw down with 4 screws from the outside through the globe ring. All of the tops are the same overall size.
I have one of the stainless tops and two of the painted tops available, however I would prefer to make a trade for other pump parts that I need.

...FYI - there's another stainless top that attaches the same way as the steel tops (four screws on the top of the dome...they are not interchangeable with the other stainless tops...

I brought home an Erie 129 and a Tok 875 on the same day and kept the best stainless top for my 875. Both mounted at the top. As said here before, it's hard to tell what was put on a pump long after it was delivered from the factory. I'm just happy there was one on the pump.

Erie was painted steel, Tok was porcelain. ...OK - so your Erie was either a 129B, or 129-12, or 129-22?...all of the 129's I've seen were porcelain...the top with the four corner mounting brackets is a little older than the one with four mounting holes on the top of the dome...can't lay my hands on it at the moment, but I've got an original parts list for some GOC pump that lists both style stainless tops, and that use of the former was discontinued in favor of the latter - probably because they would have been cheaper to make... If you don't have tops for me to buy what makes you think I care what you got to say get back to the wanted item ...manners...there's some good information here - you might learn something...my advice would be to contact Marshall and see if you have something he needs...he's a good guy...
