This was on "Pickers" about a week ago, is it real or repro?

I know there are repro's of this out there.

Whenever I think Sunoco colors it's deep blue and a rich yellow. Does this look more medium blue/orange to anyone else?

The hanger looks fine, isn't it odd the comparative condition of it to the sign.

If you look back in Nov sales on ebay there is an uncleaned version I wouldn't hesitate to call authentic.

Perfect example of how a painted item holds up over time versus a Porcelain sign..LOL

All looks good to me. Older threads show how these were made by many different manufacturers. The grommets are the easiest way to tell the repops.

Thanks
Mike

Maybe the bracket isn't original to this particular sign?

I cleaned the one I bought ( Nov off eBay) so there is nothing running from the grommets. It looks nothing like it did when listed. The sign in question I would say is right. End of story.

It's actually my sign. I sent Greg pics of one of the grommets so he could post t for you. I also added it to the ebay listing. Other than that. I guarantee its authenticity 1000% and anyone who purchases it has a money back guarantee. Thanks.

I agree, they may not have been paired together their entire lives though.

I have no clue if the bracket is the lifelong mate to the sign, I just know the bracket is an old original and it came with the sign when I bought it. And yes, the sign has been cleaned. I think we can all agree, It Cleaned up real Niiiiice.
