Randy

I just purchased a Fire-Chief from Deacon dated 52 with the dash. If you look at his July 20th post he talks about the logo change a bit. My understanding is that the dash was dropped sometime in 52. I do not know what month mine is ?-52 I should have it today or tomorrow.
Home this helps.

TEXACO. Texaco, Incorporated, known for many years as the Texas Company, was founded in 1902 at Beaumont by oilman Joseph S. Cullinan and New York investor Arnold Schlaet. In March 1901 Cullinan, with two other promoters, incorporated the Texas Fuel Company at Beaumont.
