Anybody know where you can purchase a replacement on-off switch for an early 39? Its the type activated by the plunger in the conduit housing through the hole in the left side of the pump.

For original stuff, try Tom Buckles, he might be able to help? Otherwise I use pushbutton lamp switches as replacements. Can be purchased at Home Depot or Lowes. Paul www.severngaspumps.com

Thanks Paul. I think I may just source a modern replacement like you mentioned. This pump will be on alot and modern wiring and switches is probably a good idea.
