Been a long time since I posted a daily greeting but I'm sitting at the computer and thought I might throw up a couple of photos. We had a great week last week, but the temps have taken a dip and colder weather is headed our way! We have had snow for about 3 weeks and I am sure it is here to stay.
Yesterday I was out deer hunting at the farm and watched as my nephew was finishing up the last straggler of corn. The lake keeps trying to freeze over but it is such a large body of water that it hasn't happened yet. These ducks seemed perfectly glad that there was still open water for them!
Hope that all of you are ready for the winter because it shows up every year about this time!
Have a great day on me!!--KEVIN

Hi Kevin, all...Boy, haven't done one of these posts in a LONG time!
Windy here and 38 degrees, so feels a bit colder. We've had a couple morning dustings of snow here in Hillsdale Co., but nothing at all measurable. Not good for the deer hunters in the area. We haven't had a good snow for deer season in a long time. Another issue is with the wet weather the harvest here can't continue. We need a good freeze so the farmers can get the corn off....most of the beans are done for the most part. The deer have good places to hide with all the standing corn!
Have a good day everyone,
Darin

Evening all, haven’t posted on this thread for a while either. Sitting in the recliner with the ice packs and doing therapy. My first hip replacement lasted 16 years, replaced it again yesterday so we will see how long this one makes it. Hope all are having a great day.

Thanks, Phil

Here in Maryland we had a warm day but the nights are frosty! Had to work in the a.m. then had a nice dinner with a gal-pal, and brought Bob home a NY strip steak carry out. Had invited him to join us, then disinvited him as we wanted to kvetch about stuff he wouldn't be interested in. Carry out steak worked for him! laugh

Wish we could see the Leonid meteor shower tomorrow night, but they are predicting cloudy skies over night. But hey, the weather changes so fast, maybe it will be visible. Probably be dang cold too!

p.s. Hope you are up and around soon Phil!

Morning all, hope you're up and about quickly Phil.

Our weather has been cold and rainy. I hope we get a dry spell because the darn leaves are wet and we can't clean the property before the snow comes. If that happens the spring clean up will be a bear.

Made the mistake of trying to reorganize the shop, looks like a bomb went off in there, because of the weather I've been working inside moving stuff around the last three days and will be there agin today. Hopefully I'll figure it out.

Also got one of my winter projects in the clean room, it's a 1955 PenYann runabout, so when I get tried of working on pumps I'll be sanding on the boat.

Stay warm and safe everyone.

Yeah, why is it when you do major cleaning or rearranging, you first make it look much worse! I'm glad I'm not the only one that does this...
