Watched a 1950 movie, Sunset Boulevard. It had a scene that showed a stop light with semaphore arms for stop and go that raised and lowered. Did these really exist or was this just a movie prop? Anyone have one? Anyone know where one exists in a museum?

Is this what you saw? I saw an old street scene video that has one of these that was working.

Thanks for posting that. It is very similar, if not the same, as the one I caught the brief glimpse of in the B&W movie.
