i found this globe and had never seen it so I bought it. Curious if anyone has info as to value or history of the company. Maybe thoughts on rarity etc.

Your Transport globe is from the Pennzoil Company. Don't know the value, but someone probably will....

As Dale said: an affiliate of Pennzoil .

Used from 1936 to 1958 for 'Motor Grade' gasoline.

Normally found on a glass body and valued at $400.00 - $600.00 according to the 2016 Gas Globe CD.
