The Warden bought this from her brother-in-law for a yard ornament.
I told her that it might be worth more to someone else to actually use but she said it had to be worth a lot before she would turn loose of it! LOL
Any opinions on the value from the members that know bicycles?

I agree the tank alone if someone is looking for one brings good money. I've looked at them for sale thinking I would like to own one some day as I worked for firestone for 34 years, but its way down on my wish list. I wouldn't be able to place a value but know we have bike guys here. I can tell you they sold bikes for years and branded a bunch under their name which of course doesn't help make value at the top of the chart. Ha if the warden wants to weld a pot of flowers to the seat post, happy wife happy life.

LOL--that's very true Lloyd! She asked me why I was taking a picture of the bike, since it was her project!
I told her I was curious about the bikes vale and she sort of frowned! LOL

On another note, the seat is in excellent shape. I wonder if that's original to the bike? If it is, it must have been stored inside most of its life.

Not a big dollar bike, the value is in the tank, which is worth $100. Bike as it sits might fetch $150.
Nothing like the Silverking you had Kevin
