I picked this up a few weeks ago and haven’t really been able to gather much information regarding it. Seems as though there were quite a few different styles of of these testers but this particular style seems less common. Quite neat and fully functional with the light and working tester ball. Anybody have input into whether these were an effective tool or more of a gimmick and thus less common?

Very cool tester. I have never seen that one. Our service station had one just like the NOS one I have in my collection now. Used it to impress the customers, but when in a hurry used a trouble light most of the time. Thanks for sharing.
