I am looking for a banded globe body in 13.5, Don't need the bands them self as i have 1... i purchased a 13.5 banded lens and needing a body.

Looking for anything from Hoosier Pete, Platolene 500 and Red Bird.

not too familiar with this globe body, this is what a banded globe body looks like that John is seeking .. ... I think I'm still lost and need educating guess pic is looking through open side of body,being the lens reads backwards?. Any other pics of lens side? I 'd like to grasp how the band works.

If the lense is truely for banded it should have a alignment notch at the top....
I collect Phillips 66 and globes pumps & signs esp Iowa co.

Yes my lens has an alignment notch at you top. I have had a few banded globes...

Always nice to see some old photos of my North Star globes. Jarvis, do you know if there were many US brands that used this style of body? I have four different North Star lenses on banded bodies but I am not aware of any other Canadian brand using them. I haven't seen any bodies for sale in a long time. I hope you find one. There are several that used them in states. Champlin, d-x are couple of he bigger companies.

Don if the prices today on the NS globes were like those you quoted above, now that would be sweet (as a buyer not as a seller)!
