There's something to be said for what ya need too. Someone I know needs a low profile because they have 10' ceilings and the Tok 620 is a little taller than that with the high profile.

I like both of them. I think the low profile showcases the lenses more but I also like a pop of color around some lenses. I guess it just depends on the lense and body color combo.

Some globes came with a specific style of metal body, when new....i..e., the entire run of a particular globe came with the same body when new....either a low profile or a high profile. Scott Benjamin's globe cd references this information, when it's known. It's not a big deal to everyone, but some globe and pump collectors will prefer to have the original profile of the body on a globe, if that information is available. John
