I bought a tokheim 39 short with ad glass (1954) and came with doors not mounted. How does the hinges mount and connect to. Not sure the setup for mounting both doors. Any help would be much appreciated

There are two different styles of 39 short doors. One style does not have hinges. You slip the door up under the stainless steel trim on the pump top. There is a key lock assembly on the bottom of the door this will latch the door to the base of the pump. The other style uses two hinges per door. There should be holes in the side of the door where they attach. The hinges will slide onto hinge pins that are attached to the frame. You would then close the door and reach in through the access door on the side of the pump. There is a lever assembly that raises the door into the stainless trim on the top. The assembly reaches a break over point which locks the door in place. Richard
