A friend of mine just picked up a 42" Texaco, single sided, sign that has "TEXACO" arched around the top of the sign. Normally it would say GASOLINE around the top and MOTOR OIL around the bottom. Anyone know anything about this sign? No date was found at the bottom. Thanks Spencer

They were made either way. Some say "TEXACO" around the top and some say "GASOLINE" around the top. They was also made single sided and double sided. I guess this is what you wanted to know. Good luck. BTW, pretty sign if that is the sign in question.

I think the ones that say "Texaco" at the top are single-sided. The ones that say "Gasoline" at the top and "Motor Oil" at the bottom are typically double-sided if I recall right. I have the double-sided one.
